Without concerted global action, the document states, the window of opportunity to mitigate the impacts of climate change is rapidly closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, the observed and future effects of climate change are disproportionately affecting the poorest people in each region. These communities lack the resources necessary to cope with the risks associated with rising temperatures, sea level rise, and extreme weather events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report highlights the interconnection between climate change, social justice, and development, emphasizing the need to address these issues in a comprehensive manner.
