To this end, they have organized regional seminars focused on improving the connection between recent scientific advances and their application in meteorological and climate operations in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n<p>The first seminar is\u00a0<strong>\u201cTranslating advances in ENSO research to operations in Latin America and the Caribbean\u201d<\/strong>, on\u00a0<strong>3 July 2025<\/strong>, at:<\/p>\n\n<p>09h00-11h00 Costa Rica<\/p>\n\n<p>11h00-13h00 Barbados, Chile<\/p>\n\n<p>10h00-12h00 Panama, Peru<\/p>\n\n<p>12h00-14h00 Argentina, Brazil<\/p>\n\n<p>15h00-17h00 UTC<\/p>\n\n<p>The main objectives are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyze the operational implications of asymmetry in ENSO predictability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exchange experiences among WMO Regional Climate Centers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To strengthen collaboration between scientific and operational communities in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The target audience is scientists, operational forecasters, and technical staff from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) and Regional Climate Centers in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event will have Spanish-English interpretation.
