EXECUTIVE SUMMARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In South American countries, various climate, environment and health information is collected. This information is fragmented at various time scales. It is not always easily located, accessible, interoperable, and usable to address the problems of the climate-environment-health (CAS) nexus at different territorial scales. This deepens gaps between data providers and users, science, and public policy. This proposal aims to design a digital platform that makes FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data available in the CAS nexus from the transdisciplinary co-production of indicators. in Argentina. 5 phases were established to develop the proposal, based on forming transdisciplinary groups aimed at different problem areas (gestational health, chronic non-communicable diseases, occupational health, water security, and food systems). The work is initially framed in Argentina as a case, but it is expected to be later extended to a regional level. In all phases, the active participation of key actors and potential users (in the first instance, decision-makers) will be promoted. With the future implementation of the platform, it is expected to promote interoperability and the reuse of data flows to provide feedback to an integrated surveillance and monitoring system in the climate, environment, and regional health nexus that serves decision-making based on the evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
