To maximize its impact, the curriculum is structured in two interconnected yet standalone parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online Course \u2013 A foundational introduction to key concepts in Science Diplomacy and Innovation.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-Person Workshops \u2013 Interactive workshops designed to deepen learning and be customized to meet specific stakeholder needs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Workshop Content\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop presents the IAI Science Diplomacy and Innovation Curriculum through a mix of interactive classes and simulation games focused on key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Science Diplomacy \u2013 The role of science in supporting international collaboration and decision-making.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation Diplomacy \u2013 How diplomacy promotes scientific and technological advances for sustainable development.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiation \u2013 Core negotiation concepts for addressing complex scientific and environmental issues.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Global Environmental Change \u2013 Insights into environmental challenges affecting the Americas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The simulation games allow participants to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios, fostering skills in negotiation, collaboration, and science diplomacy strategy.
