Vacancy announcement for the post of Executive Director of the IAI

The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) is pleased to announce the recruitment for the post of Executive Director of the IAI.

Parties may recall that Article VIII, paragraph 4 of the Agreement states that the Director shall be elected by a two-thirds majority of the Conference of the Parties from nominations submitted by the Parties. Accordingly, applications for the post must be submitted through IAI Focal Points. In turn, IAI Focal Points will submit those applications found to be suitable to the IAI Directorate for review by the Selection Committee. The Deadline for submission is 1 November 2022.
