The project "Construction of problems and strategies on climate change, health and agroecology from a transdisciplinary approach. Experience and contributions of the women's collective in the Agroecology Network of Uruguay" aim to co-construct transdisciplinary knowledge from and for a socio-productive, socio-environmentally responsible practice, such as agroecology. Agroecology is a mitigation and transformation strategy for CC, and its link to food security and human health. The research team comprises the beginning of different disciplines, field health technicians, and representatives of the Women's Group in the Agroecology Network of Uruguay (RAU). We propose to understand problems, develop guidelines, and make visible contributions to the problems that emerge from the interface of climate change, food production, and health through participatory workshops in different regions of the country with a transdisciplinary and gender approach. The discursive productions that emerge from the activities will be analyzed based on analysis categories of joint interest; Results will be shared and validated collectively. With these inputs, contributions will be made for regulatory and practical transformations that aim to resolve the identified problems. The project results will be disseminated to the productive community, the localities, and the decision-makers in the competition. Likewise, this knowledge produced in academic settings will be shared.
