Launch of IAI-UNOSSC joint report on Sustainable Urban Development

The IAI in partnership with the United Nations Office for South South Cooperation (UNOSSC) are launching the joint report “City-to-City Partnerships and South-South and Triangular Cooperation on Sustainable Urban Development” that focuses on how cities of the Global South are using innovative, collaborative and evidence-based processes in efforts to better deal with global changes.. The IAI Directorate will participate in the UNOSSC  webinar South-South Cooperation Between Cities for Climate Change to be held on 30 June 2020 at 8:30am (EST) made available through the UNOSSC website: www.unsouthsouth.org/climate.

The webinar offers an opportunity for decision-makers and scientists to  exchange experiences and ideas on:  (1) how cities from the South are using innovative, collaborative and evidence-based processes to tackle challenges from climate change; and, (2) the role of South-South and triangular cooperation in supporting cities to adapt to climate change in the new reality of life after COVID-19.
