Invitation to LACI La Plata project workshop

From the Initiative to Enhance Climate Risk Assessment Capacities and Catalyze Partnerships to Inform Decisions in Latin America and the Caribbean (LACI), we are pleased to invite you to the first virtual workshop of LACI-La Plata, a multinational project to develop an observatory on the climate-water-health nexus. Our goal is to support local and regional climate adaptation decision-making in the La Plata Basin by integrating and making multiple sources of data and information available in an open-access digital observatory.  

The first virtual workshop of LACI-La Plata aims to present the project to interested stakeholders and institutions and jointly identify gaps and challenges to be addressed. This workshop will be attended by institutions that make up the LACI initiative (IAI, USGCRP, USGEO, and AmeriGEO) and institutions interested in the project from the La Plata Basin countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, and Bolivia).
