Sebastián Riera holds a PhD in Agriculture Economics from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, in Germany, an MSc in International Agribusiness and Rural Development Economics from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and the University of Talca, in Chile, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Cuyo, in Argentina. He has expertise in stochastic frontier analysis (SFA), water economics, productivity, efficiency, and intensive farming systems. He contributed to productive gaps and systemic competitiveness of the Argentine regional economies.
